Great service and thefood, get chip beef and gravy over biscuits its the best.
Terrible service. Watched our server "Amy" scrape food off somebody else's plate into the trash and then brought me lemons without washing her hands. I politely asked her to remove the lemons and to bring me new ones after washing her hands, and instead of complying, she wanted to argue with me, saying that she had not touched them with her hands. I watched her touch them as she brought them to the table. I left it at that when she DID go wash her hands before bringing our food, and it would have been left at that had she not felt it necessary to gossip about the situation with another server while in earshot. I interrupted the two in order to ask if there was a manager or owner available to speak with. Amy didn't feel it necessary to acknowledge me, but the other server responded saying she would check for me. I'm sorry, but I think sanitation is of the utmost importance, especially in a restaurant setting. Very disappointed in the standards of service here.
The Chat-N-Chew IS the very best restaurant EVER, I've had the opportunity to dine in many different restaurants in many different states but this restaurant is The BEST, the prices are VERY reasonable and the amount of food you get is just amazing, I always take a little box of leftovers home, Lindsey the server is a SUPERSTAR, I cannot remember the name of the Lady who served us tonight 12/19/17 she was working in the area of the gazebo and she as well is a SUPERSTAR. If I had my way I would never eat at another restaurant because The Chat-N-Chew is and always will be #1 in my book, Merry Christmas to all of you at the Chat-N-Chew and a blessed New year, respectfully, David DeCarlo
Absolutely LOVE their food at the chat! My favorite is pizza burgers, they are sooo delicious!! One of the best restaurants in this area.
